A few months back one of the more celebrated acts in popular music of last couple of decades, the French dance/rock/disco duo Daft Punk, announced that have have called it quits 28 years into their career under said moniker.
Although I haven’t really addressed it directly in the past 41 posts on this here blog, you could probably be lead to believe from my song selection so far that I’m not the biggest fan of electronic music. This is indeed true in general, but there are several exceptions to this perception.
And Daft Punk certainly was one of those exceptions.
